- A: AnswerMy last EcoTank had no issues with very occasional printing. I too only print here & there. Sometimes, once every 2 months & I’ve never had the problem of frozen or clogged print heads. I only upgraded to a new EcoTank printer because I wanted more capabilities. If you’re still concerned, though for me it was a non issue, perhaps bring up a notepad on your cell & draw 4 lines, 1 in each color (black, blue, yellow, red) & print it once every couple weeks. ;-)

A: AnswerIndeed you can but if you plan to use this printer for sublimation DO NOT use the ink that comes with it. Be sure you install the sublimation ink from the very beginning. Of course doing so will void all warranties with Epson I believe, so keep that in mind!Answered by Jre1025
- A: AnswerHi Bobg26, Using the Epson T502 refill bottles, the EcoTank ET-2850 is designed for, you can expect an average of 7,500 black pages and 6,000 color pages. You do not need the other colors to print using black, but if one of more colors is expended, we recommend refilling them as soon as possible to avoid having ink dry around the print nozzles. Quality for price
This was very easy to set up. It to roughly ten minutes to initialize the ink system which in my opinion isn't unreasonable. Easy to switch from media sources, easy picture sheet arrangements, takes up very little space, and prints great quality pictures. Great price for the quality of product, I caught it on sale which was a double bonus!

Not bad
It is a good printer. The color is not as vibrant as the picture shown to me on the computer though. Sure, if there's a setting I can change. The ink last a long time. I have printed so many things with so many colors and I still have like 80% ink if I had to guess. I love the automatic double-sided printing. However, the printing is very slow. Overall it gets the job done and it has been a convenience.

Very satisfied with EcoTank ET-2850 Inkjet Printer
I am very pleased with this printer! I especially prefer the more eco-friendly ink tanks and bottles to the ink cartridges I used for decades. I haven't used the scanner or copier features yet, but I like the two-sided printing! Pictures don't come out very sharp, and the printing can be a little slow at times, but for my purposes, I'm very happy with this! I got a great price at Best Buy during their 4th of July sale, as well as a trade-in deal that was offered at the time, so I feel that I got my money's worth! For someone who has never set up any tech equipment without assistance from someone else, I was surprised that I was able to walk through the set-up procedures with my phone (with help from the printed instructions that came with it).
