Great release even better with rare demo CD
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has always been one of my favorite Paul McCartney releases. When this CD was first released, it was to include both the remastered "FLOWERS', a demo CD with songs from Paul and Elvis Costello...AND a DVD which was to include a 'Put It There" documentary. When the CD arrived 3 days after I ordered it...there was only the remastered album and the demo CD....but no DVD. I called Best Buy about the matter and even the customer service rep couldn't understand why there was no DVD as part of my order. Best Buy has since changed the listing on the website to say it only has the 2 CD's included in the Special Edition. The main reason for giving the release a 5-star rating is the music. The original album is great, and I'm enjoying the demo tracks more and more, every time I hear them (especially "Twenty Fine Fingers" and "Tommy's Coming Home". I probably would have given this album a 6-star rating (if possible) if the DVD was included. I'm hoping down the road that Capitol will release the DVD on its own. Truly a great collection of classic McCartney music.
