Q: Can I hook this machine to a water supply or do I need to add water mannualy?
A: Hi Stef - this machine can be connected to a permanent water supply line or can be filled manually.
Q: Can this dispenser be plumbed and built into cabinetry about 4’ from floor?
A: Hi Jif, as long as you allow room for adequate ventilation and plug the unit into a grounded AC outlet. Keep in mind you will require periodic access to clean the icemaker (including keeping the fan area and air intake free from particulate matter/dust/hair etc.)
Q: Does this machine have a filter for the ice and water?
A: No. I added an in-line filter.
A: You have to watch the amount of water or hook it up to a water line. The ice does not stay frozen long and gets recycled back in to water reservoir. Returned mine after 1 use. Leaked water and shoots ice out onto floor randomly due to doors not shutting. Makes very little ice.
Q: Can the little feet on the bottom of the icemaker be removed?

A: Hi Sharon - the ice storage area is not refrigerated. Water from melting ice is recycled into new ice or cold water.
