If you're a Prince fan since the 70's
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, first of all, I liked princes music from back in the day when he was in a group with morris day, his cousin. It took a couple times to actually see the full film Purple rain cause the first time was on videotape. Then I saw it on cable, and so on. Anyway, when he directed Under the Cherry Moon, it didn't do so well with the public and critics but to true prince fans, it was good. Now, for this movie, he tried to reach at the roots of his purple rain days, and it was okay but not as good as Purple Rain but still, tons of his vibe throughout the movie scenes so, if you bought Purple Rain and Under the Cherry Moon, buy this one, its not gonna hurt you at all.

The Sequel to Purple Rain
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graffiti Bridge is the sequel a few years removed from Purple Rain. Once again, Prince directed this movie as he did Under the Cherry Moon. The original seven Time returns and put in a great musical foil for the Kid once again. The music numbers are some of the rhythmic of any movies. Any true Prince fan this is a must have!

A collage of great music videos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the movie plot itself is bare and lacking in any true character development, the music in this movie and all performances are top-notch. I don't watch this looking for a dramatic masterpiece. I watch this for all the awesome music, presented as various music videos within the over-arching theme of the movie itself.

For true fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Heavily stylized and the music is not the finest but for true fans Graffiti Bridge is worth watching and having in the collection. The story is very similar to Purple Rain but without all of the great music from that album.

4th Fav Prince Film
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this one may take a couple of views to appreciate. Didn't love it the first time but after multiple views it does get better. Calling it Purple Rain 2 would have ended its run faster in the theaters, but it is.

A PRINCE MASTERPIECE

Prince at his best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you grew up in the 80's/90's Prince was right up there with Michael Jackson as pop icons. This album was amazing and had a amazing music video movie to go with it.

The Fantasy Sequel to Purple Rain!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graffitti Bridge is the third Prince musical/drama, fantasy sequel to Purple Rain. This movie features conflicting views of artistic integrity vs commercial success that ignite a power struggle between two nightclub co-owners. This movie once again features Jerome Benton, and Morris Day and the Time. If you love Prince its worth seeing this movie. My girlfriend got this one packaged in a purple case for Christmas last year just like Purple Rain and Under The Cherry Moon.
