Best season of them all!
I did not see the first season until now, nearly four years after its first showing in the fall of 2010. I started watching in season two or season three. I have enjoyed most of the episodes since then, but when I saw season one for the first time I was really blown away. Every single episode was absolutely riveting! The action, the excitement, the story lines, and the character acting was all phenomenal! Every episode was both explosive and emotionally moving, and that is a combination rarely achieved in a television series. I loved the characters and the breathtaking Hawaiian scenery! This was clearly the best video set I've ever purchased!

Awesome Use of the beauty that is Hawaii
Never saw much of the original show, that's what makes it cool that my generation has a Five 0!! From the friendship between McGarrett & Danno & the closeness of the whole team, to the beauty of Hawaii, to the heart pounding action, it all started here! Everyone will find something to love!! Have all three seasons that are on DVD and I can't wait for Season 4 to come out & for Season 5 to start airing!! TV is safe as long as 5-0 is on the job!!

Fun Remake
I enjoyed this remake. With beautiful Hawaii in the background, good acting, interesting ongoing mythology and the potential for some great on-screen chemistry . . . Hawaii Five-0 is fun and worth the watch.
And anything with LOST alum in any capacity I'm going to give it a go.
More McGarrett and Kono time and perhaps at least some teases for possibility there and more Dano and Grace time . . . other than that, not too shabby.
