Q: Is ram upgradable? and is there 2 slots?
A: Yes the Ram is upgradeable up to 16gb. The memory slots are covered with an aluminum plate so you will need to just lift it up to access the memory slots. It also includes an M.2 slot to upgrade the hard drive. I added 8gb of memory and a 525gb crucial m.2 ssd. I use the 1TB HD as extra storage space. Definitely worth the upgrade and recommend this laptop.
A: I had the same exact issue! It was after about 30 days as well. It was an update problem. This laptop updates a lot. Had to call HP to get it resolved
Q: Does it have a lit keyboard??
A: It does have a lit keyboard. Pressing f5 key shuts off and on.
A: Yes, this will work with an active stylus and supports Windows Ink.

A: The battery life lasted about 7 to 8 hours.
Q: What kind of graphics does it have? "Other" is not very helpful.
A: The FX9830P AMD Radeon R7 (Bristol Ridge) is an integrated graphics card with 512 GCN shader units and a core clock of 900 MHz . Best performance with dual-channel DDR4 meaning two slot of Identical memory installed. The Radeon R7 consists of eight cores supports DirectX 12 and its shaders can be used with Mantle, OpenGL and OpenCL. Includes UVD 6 (Unified Video Decoder), which can decode HVEC / H.265 up to 4K in hardware.
A: the bamboo Bluetooth windows ink stylus is nice!
Q: Is this good in playing Minecraft?
A: YES I own minecraft windows 10 edition with texture packs added (I own a realm too) and its SMOKES it. The gpu shows 68% workload and the CPU shows 12%.... This Vega chipset isint even breaking a sweat playing this game with all the graphics maxed out and running full screen @ 1920x1080. I cant see framerates with this version but I would say its locked at 60fps considering the gpu is hardly working... Buddy - this laptop can play Battlefront 2, BF4 fine LOL (yes on low settings but hey! 50fps is 50fps!) I got BF4 to hit 90fps playing at 720p. You can see on youtube all the games this laptop can play - the ONLY one that played poorly was WItcher 3.... But thats a VRAM intensive game. Just dont push it too hard.
