Q: QuestionI just bought this and it won't work. All the video's I see have the 2 ports that plug into the the mac. What is the black stick on this one for? I cant seem to get a good connection either on this. The power won't stay on.
Asked by Scozz.
- A:Answer The black stick is for Dell laptops. I plugged it into my Mac and it works like a charm. I don’t know if the usb-c with thunderbolt port is the reason it doesn’t work but I had no issues. You don’t want to move it around a lot either if you’re having connection issues too. Hope that’s helps m8

Q: QuestionWould this work with an Iphone 8?
Asked by JeffParis.
- A:Answer This does not plug into an iPhone 8 because the iPhone 8 has a lightning port and this is USB-C. You can use this to plug your iPhone 8 into a newer Macbook or iPad Pro that only has USB-C connectors

Q: QuestionI bought this to use with my iPad Pro 11 inch 2020 model. I can’t get it to work. I put a SD card in the slot and opened the Files app on the iPad and it’s not showing the hub is connected nor shows my card. Is this hub not compatible with the iPad Pro?
Asked by Chuck.
- A:Answer Thanks for the inquiry, Chuck. Because the HyperDrive 7-Port Universal hub draws more power from the host product (than the 4 and 6 port Apple iPad Pro hubs we offer), you will want to ensure there is an adequate power adapter attached to help facilitate the more power needed to operate.
