A: Full Array Dimming Pro is able to provide better black uniformity as well as superior brightness across the TV screen. Full Array Dimming Pro provides better lighting control than Full Array Dimming so that you can enjoy better uniformity and brightness. All 4K TVs have a built-in 4K Upscaler. Currently, TV programs and cable programs are broadcast in either 720p or 1080i. 4K TVs have a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 (also referred to as 2160p) and will always play any video content they are presented with at their native resolution. When presented with a lower resolution, they will upconvert or upscale that signal to, or as close to their native resolution. The quality of the image after it is upconverted will depend on how well the upscaler performs that task. There is no qualitative measurement for the quality because TV broadcasters compress the signal and that can affect how good the upconversion will look. 1080i or 720p are signals that have fewer pixels than 4K. A 4K TV can improve the picture by upconverting. ^CP

A: Yes, the LG 65SK9000PUA has full array local dimming. The number of LED used is not given by LG but one source stated that it was 128. The LG 65SK9500PUA was the 2017 model and it has very similar features. However, every year manufacturers make many small changes to their TVs so I would go with the newest model.
