Great dock but Not practical.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed.It works well. In general, it is a lot better to just use a thunderbolt 4 dock and avoid using the proprietary connector. Also, the power brick is way too large.

Works well, like the first version.

Of course, you're probably need adapters unless your monitor(s) has a (video-enabled) usb-c connection. Note, this is a proprietary dock and only works with compatible MS Surface products.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.It's nice to have a second turn get charging block so that I do not have to plug an unplug my charging cable every time I go somewhere. I keep the extra in my backpack so that I can just leave and not have to worry about taking down and packing the charging cable perit's just like the one that came with the computer that I purchased.

- A:Answer I just purchased this for my surface laptop 3 and my two HP HD monitors would not work. When going to Microsoft help forum, this turned out to be a common issue with no easy solution. The product worked for some people, but others had to go into advanced settings or update the firmware, some people had to buy new cables. and for some silly reason one solution was that you had to flip the adapter cord over. All being said, if you want simple plug and play this may not be your product. I spent over an hour trying to resolve and decided that if it is this much hassle to setup then it is not worth the price. I am returning my item today or tomorrow.

Q: QuestionHello. Does the Surface Dock 2 allow the use of the Surface Laptop 3 while the laptop is closed? I know it's compatible with the SL3, but I'd like to use it with the laptop closed with monitors & external keyboard and mouse connected via USB to the dock.
