An amazing monitor however I am not a big fan of the OLED protection even knowing it is helping the monitor last longer. Having the screen force shut off while playing a game though is not a fun process and has caused some dislikes with the monitor. The colors are amazing and the OLED screen is absolutely fantastic and have no complaints regarding anything else.

Great colors and performance but for some reason doesn’t look as good as pretty much any OLED TV. I think the TVs just have a lot of additional processing and brightness to play with that something like this does not. But overall is pretty much what you expect. Looks dim in bright rooms but punchy and bright in a dark setting. HDR doesn’t feel super impactful thanks to the lower total brightness capabilities. Also the screen coating is very very problematic. It really picks up and strongly holds onto any kind of smudge, liquid or oil. And then when you try to clean it all that happens of you create further smudging and spreading. Doesn’t matter what kind of cloth or cleaner you use. Eventually you CAN get it clean after trying a bunch of different techniques but it’s a ton of work and kind of scary in a way. Never seen a screen coating like this before in my 20 plus years of trying and buying displays. It’s really bad.

The best thing about this monitor, is the OLED care 2.0. With this feature, I no longer have to worry about the risks of burn in due to static images. I no longer have to hide my taskbar, be concerned when watching content that is 16:9, or having my screen split for multitasking. Another huge plus, is that it is fanless so you do not have to worry about any extra noise. Although it does not have G- SYNC certification, I was still able to use it with G-SYNC and had no issues. If I had to pick something that could be improved on, it would be the stand as it does take quite a bit of space. If you put it on a monitor arm, this isn't an issue, but it would be nice if more companies took the Sasmung aproach and just had a flat base.
