Incredible in 34" wide
I found my new joy. I never imagined owing a curved monitor until shopping for a different viewing experience. Looks like I found it. I will start with what I love about this monitor. First, the wideness. 34" is plenty of viewing. The monitor has a slick 1500r which I like since I play a lot of FPS games. The colors are amazing and at 240HZ is nice and smooth display. I like the ease of adjusting the height, very smooth. The functions within the control panel are easy to follow. I have experienced no issues at all with the display or the stand. What I don't like is the huge V-leg stand take up a lot of space. But that is no big deal. Most monitors today are often like this. There is also plenty of ports to connect and 2.1 support using HDMI to get that 48G speed off the cable. But the cable I got with the monitor doesn't seem to recognize it as a 2.1 compatible which I have to reach out to MSI about. Other than that, a well made monitor. I have bought many monitors over the years and this is one of those few that that made well and perform as intended. I would of gave five stars, but the cable issue... And, the monitor is pretty sturdy. A little wobble side to side but not much. Does not affect the screen to shift. I do like the adaptive-sync. Works very well. The only thing with 21:9 is that not all games support this value. And having a decent video card helps to maintain those frame rates. My Gigabyte 4080 Super does well at the 3440x1440. I am glad I made the right investment by taking a chance on this monitor. I am a true believer. Lastly. I like the fact that when viewing at an angle. I do not get any distortion or color change, or the viewing changed. Everything looks amazing. Love the RPG LED on the back of the monitor. Adds more excitement. This a must for any gamer. I plan to get another and stack on top making a more intense viewing. Absolutely love this MSI.
