Orbi Mesh WIFI Satellite
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I purchased this Orbi as an extender to add to my home wireless network mesh system. It was very simple to set up using the Orbi app. Simply access your account through the app, click on add wifi satellite and let the app do the rest.

Q: QuestionEveryone says it has excellent coverage, can we get some square footage? Or at least the floors in a house? I live in a three floor house, router on the main floor. Will it reach into the basement and upstairs? Please be specific in your reviews!

- A:Answer I don't think the WIFI 6 satellite is compatible with the older router and was told Best Buy doesn't carry WIFI 5 Orbi anymore. I had to go outside of Best Buy and purchase NETGEAR Orbi Voice Smart Speaker & WiFi Mesh Extender with Amazon Alexa Built-in (RBS40V) and it works with my RBR20 router.

Q: QuestionCan this be connected directly to my modem? I live in a small apartment. Or do I need to purchase the ax4200 2 orbi system? Is this only an extender not capable of acting as a router?

- A:Answer You need to buy the 2 piece orbi.. you can only use a extenders if you have a main router. So to buy this single one can be added to a 2 piece orbi to make it a 3 pc. Hope this helps.
