Dazzling!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Orphan Black has many things going for it, original premise, a series of fine directors, a steady bunch of writers who haven't veered off their original course. The filming on location gives it a special visual sense. But, most of all it has Tatiana Mazlany. A 28 year old actress who has talent enough for 11 people. She is simply stunningly brilliant. The role calls for her to assume several identities, some all on screen at once. It must be a terribly strenuous undertaking. Honestly, she is so chameleon like, I actually forget it is the same actress. the make-up department is awesome at subtle differences in her characters, but it really all comes down to her talent. A small supporting cast does fine work. and after, let's see, the 14 episodes I have seen, the writers are doing a great job of keeping me interested. So far there are two seasons of 10 shows each. I believe I read where a 3rd season has been put in the works. I was really just blown away in just the pilot episode.

Great second season
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tatiana Maslany leads a fantastic cast of characters that plummet down the rabbit hole in this fantastic edge-of-your-seat story that unravels quickly as she tries to figure out just why she sees so many other women who look exactly like her. The intensity of the first season doesn't let up as the second season of Orphan Black kicks off with a bang — literally. Fantastic twists and turns keep the story moving and keep you guessing. Who can you trust? Who lives and who dies? There's only one way to find out, and it's worth every moment — just be sure to watch season one first or you'll miss the set-up for the fireworks of season two!

Best Show on TV now on Blu-Ray
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Orphan Black is easily the best TV show on air that isn't called Sons of Anarchy or The Walking Dead. It's best described as a Sci-Fi/Drama about a woman who discovers she's a part of an identical cloning experiment. It features some amazing performances, none more impressive than star Tatiana Maslany who portrays no less than (5) different characters on the show. I took a shot on this show when Best Buy had the Season One DVD on sale & I've been hooked ever since. Give it a try & you will too! The Season Two blu-ray set features tons of behind the scenes, making of, & exclusive content. 5 stars!

As compelling as season 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best science fiction TV show since re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. While it's very different it's addictive--once you've seen it (please start at the beginning of season 1 so you know what's going on-- it moves fast) you have to see more. Tatiana Maslany is truly an impressive actress. While there are a few plot holes this is the best TV series I've seen in a long time, maybe ever. I have season 1 on regular DVD and the blu-ray version(of season 2) is definitely an improvement though either way it's definitely worth watching.

Amazing television series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The writing and acting in this show is top notch! Explaining the clone show seems a little farfetched, but once you begin to watch it, you become obsessed. Tatiana Maslany is a force to be reckoned with! She plays all the clones so effortlessly, you forget you're watching the same person play 9 different characters. The supporting cast is just as incredible. This show will grab your attention and constantly surprised. I've recommended it to many friends who have also become addicted and obsessed. Orphan Black is the best show on TV right now!

First season was great, it only gets better!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy this series. Season one was new and innovative concept for television (Tatiana Maslany, and Jordan Gavaris are amazing!). Season two only get better. The multiple character story line played by Tatiana Maslany ( I think their up to ten or eleven clones) get more developed and interesting. I can' t to see what happens in season three. I highly recommend this blu ray for anyone interested in a fresh new television show.

Really fresh television
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying I never give a DVD five stars (no show is ever perfect) but this one would be about as close as they come. This show is truly fresh and I have not seen anything like it before. Love Tatiana Maslany in her roles as multiple clones. She is so good you can easily forget that each role is not being played by a different actor (take note awards-emmys, SAG, golden globes, etc.) This season spent a lot of time filling in a lot of backstory on the origins and murkying the waters of who fits in the good and bad camps. But the real main theme of the season was that like a lot of shows with a "Scooby Gang" the whole is stronger than the parts. There is no "I" in clone. My favorite part was Felix's confusion about his feelings towards the new trans clone, buy it and see what I mean. Good season, good DVD and a must have for the clone club.

Great show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Season 2 isn't quite as good as the first season, but I still give 5 stars for the performance of Tatiana Maslany! She seamlessly switches between characters, and you truly feel like each one has its own personality and identity. This show is the best when one clone who is pretending to be another clone is pretending to be another clone! Don't worry, it's not hard to follow. Just watch it.
