A: We're happy to help! We recommend at least 6" of empty space between the oven and any other items all around it.

A: The Oster Convection Toaster Oven exterior will get hot. We recommend operating with kitchen gloves while in use. It is large enough to cook a whole chicken. The capacity will accommodate a 13" x 9" roasting/baking pan and fits a 12" pizza.

A: Hi it has 4 heating elements and yes it does broil. I have to say I absolutely LOVE this oven. I use it everyday.

A: Great question! You need to set the temperature and the time to cook with your Oster - Convection Toaster/Pizza Oven. For toasting breads, heat the oven to 350° F. Toast your bread on the middle rack of the oven, either on a sheet pan or directly on the grates, for about 10 minutes, flipping it halfway through.
Q: do all toaster ovens get hot on top?
A: In my experience yes, all toaster ovens get hot on top. I use this feature for warming a slice of bread to go with whatever I'm heating in the unit. If the oven is kept under the cabinet, just remember to pull it out when using , because of the heat. I'm very pleased with this Oster toaster oven.
