Interesting idea for series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really interesting idea for a series. What if big brother is really watching all of us through cyberspace? What if there are two competing entities watching? One of the entities is looking to protect and the other is simply power crazed? The benevolent entity is a small group looking to protect those who are in danger. The benevolent group is made up of a great ensemble cast including lead actor Jim Caviezel, Taraji P Henson, Sarah Shahi, Michael Emerson as the inventor of the benevolent protector machine and Amy Acker whose character has a unique ability to interface directly with the benevolent machine. The benevolent group has to come up against criminals who seek to harm others, and corrupt group of police officers who are criminals themselves seeking to further their own power, and the power hungry malevolent big brother machine with a huge host of agents seeking to take over everything. This show is never boring. Watching the moves of Jim Caviezel and Sarah Shahi characters in action is awesome. Amy Acker's character has quite a few moves of her own with a borderline personality. It's also interesting to see the benevolent group interact with one another. They can be unpredictable. This is great series. Best buy had the Blu-ray edition of this season at a great price. What's not to love?

Very good show - makes you think
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started watching "Person of Interest" during the second season, and was intrigued by the story lines. After watching this firsat season, it answered a lot of questions I had about Reese's and Finch's backgrounds (at least what was revealed). Excellent development of characters, (although a little fast paced). Great plot development of The director and writers to have Reese use Fusco, and then Carter, and to keep each of them in the dark about the other assisting Finch and Reese. The early wry (dry?) humour of Finch and especially Reese really moves things along, always timed well, even early in the first season and continuing. The weaving of technology with the emotional well-being of each character is explored well for the approximate 44 to 50 minutes that they have to develop new characters and relate to the protagonists (mainly Finch and Reese, and then Fusco and Carter. Also, the early references to the spiritual reality that they can rescue some and not all is well-played out when both Finch and more prevalently Reese struggle with human error and other detours that occur in the plot. Wish I would have gotten into this in the first season. One of the few recent shows on TV that I look forward to watching.

Great second season for a top intriguing program!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this program from the beginning. Season 4 started on Sept. 23rd. I have not missed an episode and I like the show so much that I have obtained seasons 1 and 2 in Blu-ray from Best Buy as they were released. I plan to purchase season 3 in Blu-ray (recently released) very soon. I think the stories and plots and characters are very entertaining and very interesting. I hope the series continues for some more years to come. The TV rankings/ratings for the show were numbers 13, 5, and 8 for the last 3 seasons, which is very good. This indicates a lot of people tune in to watch this drama on CBS.

Great 2nd Season
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent second season for a great show. Although Jim Caviezel gets top billing, I Think Michael Emerson and Taraji P. Henson really make this show the hit it has become. Both are warm and engaging characters. And add a good balance to Caviezel's almost stone-cold acting style. If there's a weakness to the show; for me it has to be the lighting on the sets. I think it is too dim, and makes it hard to see and absorb all the little bits of the show.

An Excellent and Unorthodox crime series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An Excellent and Unorthodox crime series that not only continues to improve, but also takes risks in it's plot lines and character development. Evolving from crime drama, mystery, and science fiction, it not only maintains it's excellence, but at times poses many questions of conscience very relevant in the 21st century.

Exciting & interesting, great acting, sexy leads!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This season carries on the exciting theme of the first, with John Reese & Harold Finch each enduring some trauma & helping each other through it, deepening their trust & friendship. New characters are introduced & some spins & developments on existing secondary characters offer extra dimension. A slightly darker tone than 1st season by the end.

Awesome series- a must watch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This series is wonderful-- hubby luvs all the action, not too violent so I appreciate enjoying watching it too. The plot is unlike anything else on TV at the moment, and really brings to light how technology is governing our lives. Characters ate likeable, and heroic. Glad we spent the money to have this at our finger tips to watch again and again.

Excellent Show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this show. Was never really a Huge Jim Caviezel fan but he is on Point in this show. Really fits with the times, when you think about Government Surveillance and things of those nature. If you like Good Commando type butt kickings then you will Love this. Also a Very Batman esque feel besides the whole Killing thing. Lol.
