Hi there! Thanks for the question. You actually don't need to register the protection plan or set it up! From the moment of purchase, it's all ready to go. So you can have peace of mind that if something happens, we can pull up the plan through your account. You, yourself, can also see it online through your Best Buy profile. I hope this helps.
