- Answer There is no indication that this monitor supports displayport alt. The DP port on this monitor is v1.4.

- Answer The manufacturer's warranty is three years from date of purchase, against hardware defects. Acer does have a pixel policy which is posted here: https://www.acer.com/in-en/support/warranty/dead-pixel
