Q: QuestionHi Recently i bought macbook A2338 ( comes with two usb c port only ) I want to connect one more screen with my laptop so i can use two different application. What is the best solution. Please advice me. Thanks Ravi

• A:Answer Not entirely sure I have plugged in storage devices to my phone via USB c. But this device needs two USB plugs I'm not sure if the phone can output enough power to turn on the device. The only way to check would be to get a USBC mail plug with a female USB a female and a USB splitter. Both plug for the monitor going to the splitter the splitter goes into the female end of the usba and the USB c plugs into the phone.again not sure if the phone will have enough power to turn up the device on.

• A:Answer As long as the desktop has an available USB port, I don't see why it shouldn't work. I'm using an HP laptop, so I don't have any experience with using it with a desktop, but given the ease of use - plug it in the USB port, and the system immediately recognized it - I can't imagine it not working with a desktop.

• A:Answer I'm assuming that as long as there is a USB port, it should work. The cable has both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectors, so it should work. I'm using an hp laptop, so I'm not sure about an Acer Chromebox.

• A:Answer I am not sure. It needs 2 USB 3 ports to plug into. I believe it uses 1 for the video and 1 for the power, since it does not require a power cord. You would need to have those 2 USB ports on the DVD player and they would need to be USB3.

• A:Answer I can't answer whether it will work with the X1Yoga. My guess is it will, with the correct drivers. My laptop does not have a DVD/CD drive either so I was able to find the drivers online and download them. Now it works great.
