Only if you get the cellular version of the watch which would require you to add a plan to your cellular carrier. If you get the GPS version I would have to be with in “Bluetooth” range.

Please try again later.Since it’s a GPS watch, most you can do without your phone nearby is use it for the Apps on the watch ( heart rate, ECG, Blood 02, calculator, calendar, etc ) you have to have your phone nearby if you want to use any features that require Cellular service or Wi-Fi
