- Answer Hi Karm, You can opt for SVG2482AC, it is a voice gateway ( modem + wifi router) with 4 ethernet ports . You can put in bridge mode if you don't want to use the wireless functionality

- Answer Hi Larry, The Wi-Fi range is subjective based on construction materials and other environmental factors, you can opt for SBG7600 ( which has a good wireless range), it should meet the needs of a home under 2500 sq ft if it is centrally located.

- Answer Yes, you just need a basic network cable, also called an Ethernet cable. Just choose the length you need. They usually come in 3 or 7 or 10 or 14 feet lengths. Shouldn’t cost a lot.

- Answer No. It is a cable modem, so it replaces the one that your cable/internet provider would provide and charge you a monthly fee.

- Answer Yes. I am using this cable modem to support XFINITY's VOIP services, but you also need to verify with the cable provider if this model will work. Usually the cable provider's have a web page setup listing all of the compatible cable modems for their services.
