• A:Answer To get the price point down BB often gets manufacturers to trim costs - easiest is to put a cheaper screen in - without changing the model name - hence the confusion. it's usually a $150 - $250 uplift to upgrade if you went in and configured a system from scratch on some sites - so BB looks like you are getting a huge deal, when you are just getting a good deal. so gaming on this model will be VERY different than on a real G731GU

Q: QuestionAfter taking a while doing the research i can assume this item is actually ROG Strix G G731GU. But even in that case why its screen is only 60hz ? ROG Strix series never have 60hz display before. So confusing!!

• A:Answer Depending on usage, you can expect 3-5 hours of battery life. You can add a 7mm thick 2.5" HDD or SSD. You can upgrade the RAM to a maximum of 2 x 16GB DDR4 2666MHz SODIMM.

Q: QuestionI’ve seen this is a 60hz display. Ok clear, but could I please now what is the %RGB and AdobeRGB for this specific model? I plan to use this for video editing (Premiere Pro and After Effects) and I’m concerned of color accuracy. Thank you.

• A:Answer this screen is were the price cut is taken it has a 250 nit brightness and only 67% sRGB and 50% aRGB so i would not do things like Premiere and after effects. it is good for gaming and watching movies. it also falls short out doors

Q: QuestionLike others on here, I am trying to find the correct answer to the refresh rate. On one hand Asus has answered and said 60hz, but on the other Asus gives a link with specs listing the refresh rate at 144hz. Please help
