- Answer The cable that came with my monitor was not a match for my desktop PC. Instead, after a consult with Geek squad, I replaced it with a USB 2.0 A to B cable. That worked perfectly. I think that the the provided cable might have been display port to display port.

QuestionProblem not hearing sound from the monitor. I adjust the volume but when I test it - no sounds. I even made the monitor the default speaker, still no sound. I used a purchased HDMI cable connected to surface dock. What's the solution? Use earphone?

- Answer I have a similar problem. The volume on my monitor is very low and cannot be adjusted any louder. I also tried changing settings. I finally added a pair of speakers until I figure out what's wrong with the monitor.

- Answer No. This monitor Does Not come with an HDMI cable. I just brought it home. It has (1) a Power cord / cable (2) a USB cord / cable And (3) another cord / cable labeled “P” Neither the USB or “P” cords connect from monitor to 2020 Mac Mini. VGA adapter won’t work with this Mac. Prior to purchase I asked Best Buy if it came with HDMI cord / cable. B B said it did. It does not. To work with 2020 Mac Mini you need an “HDMI 2” cord / cable. This monitor’s HDMI Port is an “HDMI 1”. Theoretically, “HDMI 1” ports accommodate “HDMI 2”. Tired of misinformation from ASUS & well meaning, but under - informed Best Buy employees. The product description should list what’s actually In the Box.

QuestionWhat is a "display port?" I need this to work with an M Chip Mac Mini (2020). I don't want to run around buying more cables. Mac doesn't work with my current monitor, a 2006 Samsung with an HDMI port and VGA. 2018 Mac usd VGA. New Mac doesn't use VGA.

My recommendation is: - Contact the best buy technical support (they also have on their page a live chat box many times very effective with their help). - Contact the Mac technical support to answer your question.

QuestionI have a MacBook that only has two USB-C ports and a headphones jack. One USB-C has to be used for the power cord. Will this work with a DisplayPort to USB-C adapter? Or does something else need to be connected for the webcam and/or microphone to work?

Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. 2. Press the release button, and then detach the arm/base from the monitor (Figure 2).

- Answer You've tried everything about the monitor itself. Have you tried going through your pc display settings? My Monitor and picture came up but I had trouble with the mic. Until I noticed in the set up instructions to check by way of my actual pc settings. I don't know if this will help, but I understand the frustration.
