No this motherboard is strictly for AMD chips (AM4+ socket) and thus has a socket for only those cpus. Depending on which i7 series you are asking about you would need an Intel based socket (pins on the board vs pins on the chip, completely different connections). If you bought a recent i7 then look at Z590 motherboards or Z490. Just make sure that the socket can take accept your CPU
