A:Answer The only difference is, CPU (which is a better bin.. not much difference). Motherboard will be the same.. everything in the laptop chasis will be the same. The display (inside the lid) is QHD panel... maybe the display cable will be changed. ASUS stats the same drivers page is to be used on this 'model' as well.
Nowthen, the older reviews explaining issues... issus have been fixed via firmware, windows updates, GPU bios update. Liquid Metal oozing off the gpu shorting it before you get the laptop.. that was an issue on the very first few early versions (serial numbers).. ASUS has changed the protections of run-off of liquid metal as well.
The only issues I now see are slow ram timings ( lottery what you get ) and some light bleed issues with the QHD models. This is my second one and it has the light bleed in the bottom right corner. I will probably have ASUS sort it out. Try to get one with serial number starting in N for 2022 year. Maybe you get hynix ram.
OS, yes it is Windows 11. But version 1 (the FHD model, could update to Windows 11).
You are right in a way, the OS has changed, the issues have been fixed mostly, and the old outdated reviews shun this laptop.
