“Purchased two of the AudioQuest angled wide HDMI adapters on December 30, 2020. For some reason my Samsung TV does not recognize my cable box, Roku, etc. when I plug in the equipment. Took adapter out, equipment recognized. Any suggestions?”

First, try a different adapter. Second, make sure the adapter length is sufficient to engage connector 100% before hitting TV cabinet.
