It seems to be a European dishwasher option - no heating element for drying. It does have “extra dry” option which I’ve used - the water is very hot and I found everything dry when done. I have not tried a cycle without the extra dry option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know if it is a Bosch thing or an 'energy' thing. There is no heater coil in the unit. The water is heated to ~140 degrees which allows the glassware and other items that hold heat to get dry. Plastic items do not carry the heat and are typically wet after the cycle completes. There is also standing water on things with deep recesses. This is not an issue because the heating element in the previous unit was never used. We air dry the dishes (slide out the racks, flip over the few wet items, and let them air dry). The drying element was not a selection driver since it would never be used. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does heat dry but it uses a lot of rinse aid every 4-5 washes it says to add more and the dishes never seem to dry fully.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it has heated dry. It is a Bosch thing. Read their website.
