• The sound fills up the room. I actually prefer the performance in an open floor plan room. Mine in particular has pretty high ceilings too. It also comes with a device that you place over your head (kind of like headphones) that allows you to calibrate the sound based on different positions in the room

• I have a fairly large living room that flows in to the kitchen. The speaker works well for my space. I did not go with the subwoofer but I am debating getting the wireless speakers that pair with the 700 to add more speaker coverage.
