• A:Answer The envelope is placed in the feeder in the rear of the printer. Be sure to adjust the guides to keep the envelope steady as it passes into the printer and keep the envelope face up. If I am not mistaken, because it has been a long time since I printed on an envelope, the flap should be on the left side.

• A:Answer You need to have a phone line connected to the printer to use the fax feature. You can print documents from your phone to the printer using the wireless feature. I don't think the fax will work using a cell phone number. If it does I have yet to figure that out.
