To answer your question I'm sure if you contact Conair they will give you a price maybe send you a replacement in good will type of manner worth a call. Also if you have to replace unit Best Buy deal of the day sometimes put this unit on sale for 19.99. So check out their deal of the day I've seen it twice on sale. Great unit hint don't get rid of unit still a great grinder!!!!
