- Answer I called Slumberland, about my power chair and about getting one of these UPS Power System. He said. my chair comes with a "power back-up" That I just have to follow the cord from the transformer box (under the chair) and you will see where to install TWO 9-volt batteries.

QuestionThe only thing plugged into my Cyberpower 650VA is ONE power recliner and I only use the lift and lower option. I need the back up so I can get out of the recliner. How many lift and/or lower cycles will the Cyberpower last before the power comes back on?

- Answer By now you have probably tested it and know the answer. However, Cyberpower states that high current draw appliances should not be plugged in to this unit. I would guess your chair falls into this category.

- Answer this possibly sounds like a overload condition and its possible every few minutes your game is causing a higher load than what the UPS is designed for

- Answer This is a bit complicated. The discharge curve is not linear. For example, if you double the current load, the discharge time will NOT be 1/2 the time as the lower current draw. It will be somewhat less

QuestionClaims to have a 650VA rating. This translates to "650 Volt Amp Hours". So why, with a 1.5A load, the unit operated for 90min? If this unit was brand new and fully charged, I would expect 1.5A load to survive almost 200min?

- Answer Amp-hours and volt-amps are different entities. The former is a power measurement and the latter is a capacity measurement. Definitely not the same.

- Answer Not sure, but being an electrical engineer, I think this should not be a problem. You might check it during charging to see if it is getting excessively warm.
