- Answer Hello, The LX1500GU3 will provide 221 minutes of runtime at 3-5 watts. At 50 watts using a small TV or modem/router you will get 172 minutes of runtime. At 100 watts for a laptop and monitor for example you will get 83 minutes of runtime! A full desktop PC with monitor and peripherals you can expect 36 minutes of runtime at 200 watts. Great question!

- Answer Hello, Thank you for your question. The main differences between these units is the LX1500GU3 has a color LCD screen and 1 USB A and 1 USB C charger ports on the front. The LX1500GU does not have a color LCD screen and only has 2 USB A ports on the front. QuestionI see that this unit has a "Display" button. Can the lights on the display be turned off? I am power and protecting equipment inside of an observatory and wish to eliminate any light leak to the scopes.

- Answer I notice that after turning on the unit, the display lights then “go to sleep” automatically after just a minute or two and stay asleep unless you push the front button lightly to reactivate them. There shouldn’t be an ongoing problem then with the display lights while working with the computer. You could block out the lights by covering the display window because you can find the same information they display on the accompanying downloaded CyberPower Personal Power Panel software.

QuestionWill this work with an older two wire plus ground electrical system? Will that be seen as an incoming power fault?

- Answer Hello Steve, So long as the ground is properly grounded and there is not an issue like the hot and neutral being swapped, it should be fine. If you are uncertain I would suggest getting an outlet tester and testing for faults like bad ground, missing ground or reversed wiring.

- Answer Hi there, we unfortunately have not tested this, and this could potentially cause damage to the unit. We cannot recommend connecting extra batteries as this does also void the warranty, Great question.

Questionwhen one speaks of muting the alarm, are we talking about a permanent mute or muting per incident. I am disabled and don't want to be bothered with an annoying alarm that I need to shut off every time there's an outage - thanks

- Answer Hello wingspan, thank you for reaching out and alerting us about this. The actual product dimensions are 3.9 x 9.8 x 13.7 (in) as indicated in the picture on the Best Buy Website. Looking a the product listing the dimensions listed in the specs appear to be the shipping dimensions (the box) as we list those measurements at 17.0 x 13.5 x 7.25 (in) on our website. I will submit this to product management to get this corrected on the Best Buy side.

- Answer Hello Ric, this model of UPS has a set of two 12V 9Ah Sealed Lead Acid Batteries being used. The replacement battery pack SKU is RB1290X2, which includes the two individual batteries needed to replace the ones in this UPS.

- Answer Contact the Manufacture support line. They can direct you to tech support and help diagnose the issue and offer the best remedy. Failures can happen, often times its the battery and needs replacing. But shouldn't just after a yr. Hope this helps.

QuestionMy UPS stopped showing the battery capacity, now it goes completely off whenever it feels like and not due to a power outage, this is annoying since i use it for my modem and tv, Is there a way to fix it? Or i still need to standup and reset it for life?

- Answer In my experience, if it's no longer under warranty, it costs enough to fix it that just buying a new one is the smarter move. You might consider getting a smaller one just for your modem and TV.
