A:Answer Don't remove anything before you try this fix (originally posted by wb407 with pics if you can find that post). If you have a model with a ball, check manual for how to open that, as if you were changing the filter. Don't change it, just make sure your filter is lined up correctly (there are arrows on the plastic part). Mine was off about 1/4" and when I lined it up, I could push the vacuum again, even on medium pile carpet.
