Q: QuestionMy Dyson blows out warm air is that normal?

Q: QuestionCan this vacuum be used if I have a short haired pet? What's the difference between this unit and the more expensive unit that says it is for pets?

Q: QuestionShould air flow through the handle all the time even when doing normal vacuuming?

• A:Answer Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. The air flow will switch to the base when reclined. You should only feel air flow from the wand when in the upright position. If you feel suction through the wand when reclined, there is likely an obstruction within the hose inlet. Simply remove the hose and clear out any debris. Q: QuestionJust got a new shag area rug. Can I raise the brush(es) to vacuum this rug wirh ease?

• A:Answer Hi Marge, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Small Ball Multi Floor, like with all of our Dyson Ball models, has a self-adjusting cleaner head. This reduces air leaks and retains more suction power at the cleaner head, ensuring that the head maintains optimal contact with flooring, to provide the best performance across both hard floors and carpet. As a result, while we don't expect problems to occur and experiences can vary from home to home, some high pile carpets may fill in the cleaner head resulting in an airtight seal. The Small Ball model does feature a suction control slider at the cleaner head which will result in more possible airflow when cleaning your carpets. Q: QuestionOn this vacuum, we both have back issues and need a vac that is easy to push and pull....No back strain is what we are looking for......does you vacuum meet these needs

• A:Answer I'd say that this vacuum does. It's powerful, but very light (net weight is only 12.23lbs). It's easy to lift, store, push, pull, turn, etc. Plus, with the actual "ball" mechanism you're able to achieve dynamic movement with minimal effort. The "steering" handle on this vacuum lifts to waist height during use, and rests at hip height when replaced after use, and removal/replacement of the canister is easily accessible and trouble-free. Overall I've had no issues using and maintaining this vacuum, and with its lightweight design I don't foresee your experience with using this as a strenuous task.

Q: QuestionI just got mine. The suction is great but when I try to use the wand I’m fighting with it the whole time. It wants to suck the wand back down into the machine. Is this normal? Also doesn’t look like the brush moves at all when I push the button??
