Questioncan this work with the beacon router that comes with gonetspeed? I got little signal strength at the other end of my house. Can this work or do I have to get their beacon at 10 bucks a month rent?

- Answer It depends on the kind of beacon router that the ISP provided you. If it is an eero, then yes, this will work with it. If they did not provide you with an eero then you can work with this one, this eero would just need to be hardwired to the internet via an ethernet cable and then you can use another eero to wirelessly connect to the first/gateway eero and provide wireless in its location.

- Answer I hooked up this router to a printer I got in 2015. So my guess is, as long as the Lorex DVR can see the wifi next work. It should work. The router also has 2 LAN ports.

QuestionWe are switching to green light WiFi. Will this router work with their service? We have 2 floors 6 rooms. Not tech savvy. Will this work and be easy set up? Also only 2 tv’s couple iPhones and laptops.

- Answer This connects to your modem (box from your provider) and when setup gives you wi-fi access to any device. For 2 floors you may need more than 1 to cover. If your provider is offering you wi-fi as a service, you may want to check with them first on how this connects

- Answer This will not increase the speed that Frontier DSL provides you. The 6 Mbps speed is the max they provide, it could go higher depending on what they give you. Buying an eero or any other mesh device allows you to get up to the speed Frontier provides now and down the road. If you have multiple devices, then this eero can help with reaching farther in your house. If you move, you can take it with you.

- Answer Spectrum installs a modem that provides internet to you. This box usually provides a wi-fi signal to your devices. You can buy an eero to provide better wi-fi coverage to devices where you live. Or you use 2 or more eeros to cover a larger area where you live. You would have to keep the Spectrum modem in order to have internet.

- Answer The eero will not extend the Evo wifi network. What you do is plug one eero into your modem/internet source via ethernet cable, that eero will become head/Gateway eero and create its own wifi network. Other eero can connect to that gateway eero (wired or wirelessly) and extend the network. These particular eero (the eero 6) covers up to 1500 sq ft each, depending on environment of course.

- Answer This router sits after your cable modem and can replace your whole house wi-fi. and yes I have several that replaced range extenders, they were just not strong enough.

QuestionI have an eero pro mesh system in the house. I am adding an Ethernet cable to go to a shop 100’ away from the house. Which eero should I get to talk to the other 3 eero pros in the house? All the other eero are hardwired to a switch.

- Answer Any model of eero with ethernet ports will work for that (so avoid the Beacon and the eero 6 extender). Make sure you are using the topology gateway eero->switch->all other eero, one eero has to be above the others in the topology for the wired links to work correctly.

QuestionDoes anyone know if this will work with Direct TV? We have satellite tv (wireless boxes) and we're not getting a strong enough signal to the box on the bottom floor. Will this boost that signal too or just wifi/internet? Thanks

- Answer Yes, it's one of the reasons we got it - because we couldn't stream anything as our wifi connection couldn't reach. We have Direct TV and it works like a charm.
