- Answer Kevin I truly appreciate your insightful answer it means a lot. I did contact Epson so many times and the tech takes me through the steps to fix it and the machine works and then It happens again. I will be replacing the machine soon.

QuestionThe in-store demo shows a sticker on the front of the printer that says "heat-free"...what does that mean?

- Answer Some printers use heat to cure the ink or tonor used to create the image when printing. This printer does not use heat to cure the ink during the printing process. This is an important feature for people that want to use the printer for things that will use heat later on, such as sublimation. Printers that use heat to cure the ink or tonor would otherwise ruin heat sensitive paper or sublimation prints.

QuestionIs the et 15000 able to print dtf paper?

- Answer I would not recommend this printer for DTF. Instead, I would look at the ET-8550. The reason is the ET-15000 only has 4 ink tanks. Since DTF requires the use of white ink to see colors properly, especially on darker shirts. And it uses a lot of it at that, so you would want to go with the ET-8550. It has 6 tanks. 2 for white, 1 black, 1 cyan, 1 magenta, 1 yellow. The ET-8550 is better suited for sublimation where white is not needed.

QuestionWill this printer print on 110lb cardstock paper?

- Answer Hello Erick. The thickest paper the ET-15000 can print on is Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy which weighs 79 lb. For cardstock, we recommend using paper that weighs around 44 lb. You can try a cardstock paper that falls in that range. However, your results can vary when using thick or heavier paper, as these recommendations are for Epson paper only since we have not tested 3rd party media. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
