QuestionCan I connect 2 ET-2850 printers to the same wifi network? How can I differentiate between the 2 when printing from a computer? And will they lose their IP Addresses if the wifi network goes down?

- Answer Yes, you can have 2 printers on the same network. They would each receive their own IP address. You can change the printer name in printer settings to better differentiate between the printers. By default i would assume the second printer install would add a number at the end of the printer name. You may be able to change the printer name during setup.

QuestionHow often does the inkpad have to be replaced on ecotank 2800?

- Answer If you have issues and have to do a lot cleanings the pads will fill quicker and forbid you have to run a powerwash it does not last a lifetime. Everyones experience is difference, speaking from experience troubleshoot and troubleshoot some more before doing even thinking about doing powerwash these inkpads cant handle it, they do warn you. Did not buy mine from BestBuy but tons of videos out there for all models.

- Answer Hello Marie. Yes, the ET-2800 is good for occasional printing. Since it is an ink-jet printer, we do recommend printing out a print-head test page every few days to ensure everything is working properly. - Answer Hello Dan. The ET-2800 can only do 2-sided printing manually. You can select the "Double-sided" option under the main tab of your print settings. - Answer Hello. The heaviest paper supported by the ET-2800 is 27 lb (100 g/m2). Unfortunately, using 110 lb card stock could potentially cause paper feed issues. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

- Answer CD not needed. I used internet for everything. I was kinda busy for a while as I am a klutz but the installation software does have everything you need. If I can get it installed ANYBODY can do it.

QuestionDoes this have pigment or dye based ink? How about the 2760 & 2850? Prefer pigment ink for fade & water resistance, plus better for printing on transparencies. But if this is dye, how will it hold up in these ways? Thanks!

- Answer It uses the same dye based on as the 2720, Epson 522. The 2760 and 2850 use 502 ink which is pigment black with dye based colors. Epson has a section of their site for SDS on all of their inks.

- Answer Hi ken, If you print infrequently, the ink in an EcoTank ET-2800 will last for a very long time. We measure ink yield by pages, not time. T522 Refill bottles for the ET-2800 can be expected to yield around 4,500 black pages and 7,500 color pages. If you want to see details on our ISO test methods, visit the Epson support site. QuestionMy printer is 3 months old. It stopped printing. It will cycle the paper through, but it shows up completely blank. I ran the test / nozzle check - also coming out completely blank. Yes, there is ink in all tanks! We barely used the printer.

QuestionWhat is the difference between the 2800 and the 3850 printer. . Can you use it to print out photos from your phone. And I have another question the maintenance box keeps popping up telling me it need to be replaced. If you dont replace it will it stop.

- Answer Hi, The EcoTank ET-3850 has several features the ET-2800 does not have. These include an auto document feeder for the scanner, automatic two-sided printing and larger ink tanks.
