  • QuestionHow far away can the printer be located for it to work wirelessly. I have Spectrum 5G internet

    Asked by eddieoh.

    • Answer With my ET-2980 it appears to be about 10 feet with no obstructions between the printer and the SPECTRUM modem. Our home office is directly next to the living room where the modem is located which puts the printer about 10 feet away with a wall in between. Everything else in the office connects just fine, but this printer cannot maintain a connection which makes it kind of worthless.

  • QuestionIs a subscription required for the replacement ink?

    Asked by Subscription.

    • Answer There is an option to subscribe when you register your printer with Epson. It may be automatically checked. Uncheck it. I did not subscribe to have the ink automatically sent to me when they see that it is running low. I don't want them to have that much access to my printer. Because I don't always need colored ink, and it may come on sale, I plan to buy it when I decide to buy it. It is available at Best Buy and also in other stores and online. I hope this helps.
