A:AnswerOn the front panel (below the controls...off\ on switch etc.) there are indentations on both sides almost at the top, that the word "filter" is stamped. Pull the panel at these indentations, it opens up at the top, doesn't come completely off but gives enough space to then slide the filter out. The directions in the instruction booklet are very clear.
A:AnswerThese newer A/Cs are designed to hold a little water for the fan to slap up into that hot outside coil. A little water helps cool it better than air only. Just like when you step out of the pool, the wind cools you off better than when you were dry.
A:AnswerYES it handles the extreme heat well! I have had mine on since I received it June 25th 2019 and had to turn fan on "auto" and turn back on "Eco" because it was too COLD!
A:AnswerHey Hello! Based on the model you selected, the decibel noise rating is 55dB (low), 57dB (medium), and 59dB (high). I hope this helps! -Thanks-
A:AnswerHello, Kiba.
Thanks for your inquiry.
Your new high-efficiency air conditioner may make unfamiliar sounds. These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. They also indicate your appliance is operating as designed.
Based on the details you provide it does appear the “dripping” sound is droplets of water hitting the condenser during normal operation.
Hope this helps.
Should the sound become louder, please give us a call. Our team will be happy to assist you further; we can be reached at 888 203 1389. Our Customer Care Team is available Monday through Friday from 8am-8pm EST and Saturday from 9am-6pm EST.

A:AnswerYes. It will remove up to 86 pints of water per day from the air.
BTW, as far as I know, all air conditioners will dehumidify because as air is blown over the cooling coils (the tubes that hold the refrigerant) any moisture in the air will condense on the coils, and then as it accumulates it drips to the bottom of the unit and drains to the outside.
A:AnswerAnswering my own question here. After two weeks of back and forth messaging with customer support, they forwarded this issue to marketing. The manual should be revised to be model specific regarding features, and the boxes should clearly state them as well. That being said, the unit works great, marketing doesn't.
