A:AnswerYour child would need to have a phone with them and the device paired and the Live Track feature set up. Their phone would send the data to your email address so you could track them. You would have to use a computer or phone to watch the track. You may want to go to support.garmin.com where you can reach out to a product support specialist for more information on how the Live Track feature works.

A:AnswerThe Forerunner 35 has the ability to track an activity with GPS and can use the LiveTrack feature when paired with Garmin Connect Mobile during an activity. More information on LiveTrack can be found in this link: https://support.garmin.com/faqSearch/en-US/faq/content/HbqxxbiBGA3mDhlLX4GUw8.
A:Answerabsolutely, as far as wrist HR monitors are concerned. I would recommend you look up DC Rainmaker's blog (address is his name). He does a deep dive into every reputable GPS enable watch including the 35. All wrist monitors are going to be a hair less accurate than chest straps - but the 35 has the same HR monitor as my 735 and I ran with that in a half just this past month and it was very accurate.
A:AnswerThe Forerunner 35 does not have a golf profile. You’ll need to look at getting a golf watch from Garmin (our approach series) or get a vívoactive HR which has running and golf on it.

A:AnswerYes, if doing an outdoor run and acquiring GPS you do not need your phone to see the data. You will need to have your data fields set properly to read those specific stats if you want to see them during a run.

A:AnswerYes. The watch doesn't play music, but can help control the music on your phone. You need to buy a watch that can load music onto the watch if you want to use it for music without your phone. I have the forerunner 645 music, for example, that does this.
