A:AnswerHello- Thank you for your interest in our beautiful Induction Convection Range! You really can't get any better than this! In regards to your question, if you are asking if a slow cooker can sit on the cooktop, we don't recommend it. If you are asking if there is an element that will do slow cooking, there are 2, 2500 Watt elements in the right and left rear position. There is an 1800 Watt element in the right rear position and there is a center warming element that is 100 Watts. We hope this helps! If this doesn't answer your question, please reach out to us via a private message on Social Media. Thank you! Joyce@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, we're sorry if the question wasn't fully answered. We'll be happy to outline a few more differences. Some differences include the following: 1) PHS930YPFS has more compatible accessories. 2) PHS930YPFS has a Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel finish whereas PHS930SLSS does not. 3) They offer different cooking modes. We hope this is more helpful and we're wishing you the best. We'd love having you in our GE Appliances family. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for your interest in a new model! We truly appreciate your loyalty as a GE consumer, and can advise we have several options for a slide-in induction range that would potentially be a good replacement for your current model. If you want to view the various options, searching for "slide-in induction range" on your dealer website or our GE website would be a good way to do so. The model you asked this question on, PHS930SLSS, may be a good replacement - it has similar dimensions (though it has small differences in the width and depth), features True Convection with Precise Air and has a capacity of 5.3 cubic feet. We hope this information is helpful in choosing a new model, but if you have further questions or concerns we're always glad to assist, here or over social media. Thanks for being part of our GE Family! -Sarah@GEA

A:AnswerI don't recall mine coming with a black bar or screws. But if the bar looks a bit like coving, and is the width of the range, it may be a spacer to install at the back of the range for an insulation in a kitchen island. It may also simply be a piece that was mistakenly packaged with you range. In either case you've bought a great range.
A:AnswerPHS930YPFS - GE Profile - 5.3 Cu. Ft. Slide-In Electric Induction True Convection Range with No Preheat Air Fry and WiFi - Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel. The only difference is the Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel finish that is a big plus.

A:AnswerHello Branon,
Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to provide some clarity. A wok can be used with this range. Use a flat-bottomed wok. Do not use a wok with a support ring. We hope this helps. Best wishes! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi Jack, thanks for reaching out! We're finding that there is not a backsplash that is compatible with this unit. We apologize about that! We hope that this is helpful though. Stay safe. -Michael
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for choosing GE Profile Model # PHS930SLSS! Most range or cooktop models do not require a ventilation system or have a CFM requirement; however, we recommend checking the local residential codes in your area to see if one is required. Also, UVB30SKSS is approved for use with cooktops only. Take a look at the Quick Specs for details:

A:AnswerHi D - Thanks for your interest in GE Profile! The minimum pan size for use with 11" element is 7". Cookware larger than the element ring may be used;
however, heat will only occur above the element. We suggest viewing page 10 of the Use and Care Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-80806-4.PDF - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for viewing GE! We are sorry to hear you are unable to find a compatible espresso maker. Pans that are too small will not allow
the induction elements to turn on, and the ON indicator for that element location will flash for 25 seconds and then turn off. 4.5" is the minimum diameter of pot for the 6" 1800 Watt element and 5" diameter is the minimum diameter for the 8" 2500W elements. A 3.5 inch diameter stovetop espresso maker will not work. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerHello Lizzy12 - Thank you for reaching out about this wonderful induction range. Congratulations on the kitchen remodel. A stainless steel backsplash and overhanging shelf will not interfere with the function of the induction cooktop. We do suggest that there be at least 30" between the surface of the range and any surface above. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - JB
A:AnswerHi Hank -Thanks for choosing GE Profile Model # PHS930SLSS! We’re glad to have you in the family. It is certainly a very "smart" range! Element Wattages are as follows: Left Front 8" 2500W Sync Element; Left Rear 8" 2500W Sync Element; Right Front 11" 3700W Power Boil; Right Rear 6" 1800W; Center 6" 100W Warming Zone. Our apologies wattages are not provided in the manual and for any inconvenience this caused. We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. We are always eager to assist! Sue
A:AnswerHello AvaC - Thank you for your interest; we are happy to help! This range model has finished sides. There is no need to have side panels. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking. Olga
