- Answer With the DeskJet Plus 4155, you can initiate a copy from the printer. You have to use HP's scanning software from your PC or the HP smart app to initiate a scan on the printer.

- Answer You can copy directly from this printer with no computer or smartphone. Once you have placed the document on the flatbed scanner or the auto document feeder, then you press either the Start Copy Black buttonor the Start Copy Color button to make a copy. You can increase the number of copies by pressing the button multiple times. - Answer The #67 black ink for this printer is pigment-based, and should not smear in most cases. The colored ink is dye based, and may smear if you hit it with a highlighter before the ink has had time to dry thoroughly
