- Answer Yes, you can scan a document as a PDF; however, you will not be able to scan directly to your computer unless you download HP's app and allow them access to a lot of data, so you'll have to scan to a USB drive if you don't want the app, and the scan quality is subpar.

- Answer Yes. It will handle up to 110 lb stock for single sided printing. To do automatic two sided printing on card stock, it needs to be no heavier than 65 pounds.

- Answer Only has the one tray, but it will handle various sizes of documents (standard, legal, envelopes and A4). I don't know about just buying the tray separately.

- Answer The scanner software will send you the scanned document via email. I cannot recall if you get a scanned image outside of email. There is no preview of the scanned document, as you set the document in the document feeder or on the glass and initiate the scan from your device. I have been able to scan from a laptop and phone over a wireless network. I have not tried scanning or printing over the internet.

- Answer The dimensions are Maximum dimensions (W x D x H, U.S. standard) 17.3 x 20.46 x 10.94 in. which include the paper tray. The paper tray is about 7 inches.
