With the Total Tech Membership from Best Buy, this situation can easily be fixed. This membership would cover the cost of the repair and the parts necessary for replacement. Even without this membership, if you report the damage within the allotted time provided on the receipt, there is usually a warranty of some kind that covers out-of-the-box damages that occur shortly after purchase/receipt of the product.
