- Answer Yes, the Laptop has two SODIMM ram slots. One is occupied with a 8gb stick. I replaced the 8GB stick in mine and upgraded to a kit of 32gb Kit (2 X 16GB) of DDR5 4800.

QuestionI connected this laptop to an external monitor with its type C port. I hoped when it's connected to an external monitor, it is being charged. However it is not. Is there any setting I need to change to let it charged when connected to a monitor?

- Answer Thank you for the question. The USB Type-A port on the Victus 15-fb1013dx also supports HP Sleep and Charge. You can connect the monitor to the Type-C port and charge from the Type-A port, or use the Smart Pin adapter for charging.

QuestionCan you put one 16gb ram stick or do you have to put 2x8gb sticks in? It is a DDR5 16gb ram stick.

- Answer The HP Victa comes with an 8gb of RAM in it. There is a second slot that is 3mpty. You can add another 8gb stick or one 16gb stick to go along with the 8gb. Or you can remove the 8gb and add two 16gb. Or you can remove the 8gb and add one 32gb. Must be 4800mHz, DDR5. Max gb of RAM for this laptop is 32gb of RAM. If you add any more it will wear out the laptop faster as everything internally will need to work harder to support more than 32gb.

- Answer Thank you for the question. Dual channel refers to RAM, not the HDD or SSD. Dual channel RAM is a configuration in which two identical RAM modules are installed in pairs on the motherboard. This laptop has an additional slot to add more RAM for a dual channel configuration. There is no slot to add an additional storage drive, but you can switch out the 512GB SSD for one with more capacity. We recommend that a professional technician perform any upgrades.

Given the specs, it will run Fortnite well.
