A:AnswerOne of mine was delivered to the basement. Do you have basement door with outside access...this will make it easier. Oh and take measurements to make sure it will pass through the door openings of each access point in the delivery path.
A:AnswerI was told no, they do not unbox or even have to put it where you need it at all unless they are installing it. Since a freezer doesn't need to be installed, they wouldn't unbox.
I was just told this today 7.7.21 but a geek squad representative as my freezer was delivered, put in a corner facing a wall, and not unboxed, leaving it completely useless to me as I can't move it myself and I have no help.

We know you are trying to put your unit in a tight place. Allow me to explain that the door can be remove and than added again for you to do this. Just keep in mind, that the door has to be close all the way for it to work the correct way once is installed.

A:AnswerIt weighs around 150 pounds (unit only) and approximately 180 boxed. We (two adults) moved it into and out of a truck with no problems. If you are going to plug it in right away, it should be transported upright. If you put it on its side, wait 24 hours after placing it upright before plugging it in.
