A:AnswerThe Insignia™ - 350 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner operates at a noise level of 53 decibels (dBA). This is similar to the sound level of a normal conversation, making it relatively quiet for a portable air conditioner. Patricia | Insignia Support
A:AnswerInsignia portable AC's are manufactured by Midea. In fact their 8000 BTU portable AC (and other size models) all uses the same identical window vent kit. Suggest you try to buy a replacement kit from Midea. I see no reason why it wouldn't fit :)
A:AnswerHi Frenchy! Thanks for inquiring about our Insignia™ - 350 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner. The amount of water that comes out on the drainage depends on the humidity and condensation in the room. This Portable AC acts as a dehumidifier when set to Dry mode, and the collected water comes out from the upper drain where you can plug a 3/4 in. hose to easy drain water. The lower drain tray is intended for normal use of AC due to condensation. You'll know that it is full when it beeps eight times, P1 appears on the control panel display, and your air conditioner stops.
1. Carefully move your air conditioner to a drain location, then remove the bottom drain plug and let the water drain away. If you don’t have a drain, use a cookie with sides or a shallow dish.
2. Reinstall the bottom drain plug. Make sure that you reinstall it firmly to prevent leakage.
3. Restart your air conditioner. The P1 disappears.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance. Have a nice day! - James | Insignia Support | https://www.bestbuy.com/site/brands/best-buy-brands/pcmcat1596746025285.c?id=pcmcat1596746025285

A:AnswerIt only circulates inside air. The exhaust hose is used to remove the hot air caused by the condenser. It's literally the hot air being removed from your home. It should be noted that the vent blowing air outside causes a negative pressure in your house. This technically means hot air will enter your home through other areas, but most homes have a fresh air vent located somewhere in the home. Think of it like a fireplace it's going to make the room it's in hot but the fire needs oxygen so it will pull cold air in from somewhere else.
A:AnswerHello Chels,
You may turn it off once the room is already cool. The fan sucks the hot and humid air from the indoor room inside the portable air conditioner.

A:AnswerThe unit is self evaporating. There is no pump. You will find a bottom drain that needs to be emptied during higher humidity levels. The top drain may also be clogged. The top drain will not drain all of the water created from the unit.
A:AnswerIf you are a preferred member, you might be within the 60 days allowed to return. I think it's 60 days. Two months is not very long. It would be worth asking.
A:AnswerLow volume. While watching tv on normal sound for us volume is maybe a 16, with air conditioner on maybe raises volume to 27
With just the fan volume is at about 21.
Hope this helps
