A:AnswerFor attaching the power cord to your Insignia™ 6.7 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer, you will need screws that are typically #10-32 machine screws. The length can vary, but 1/2 inch is usually a good fit.
If the screws you tried didn't work, make sure they are indeed #10-32 and not #10-34, as the thread pitch is different. You can find these screws at most hardware stores or online.

A:AnswerI'm sorry to hear about the issue with your new dryer. Finding smoke and hot glue residue inside your dryer is definitely concerning. Here are some steps you can take:
1. Turn Off and Unplug the Dryer:
- Immediately turn off the dryer and unplug it from the power source to prevent any potential hazards.
2. Inspect the Interior:
- Carefully inspect the inside of the dryer for any visible signs of damage or remaining residue. Avoid using the dryer until it has been thoroughly checked.
3. Contact Insignia Support:
- Reach out to Insignia customer support for assistance. They can provide specific guidance and may arrange for a technician to inspect and repair the dryer if necessary.
4. Avoid Using the Dryer:
- Do not use the dryer until the issue has been resolved to avoid any risk of fire or further damage.
It's possible that the hot glue residue could be from the manufacturing process, but it's important to have it checked out to ensure your safety and the proper functioning of the dryer.

A:AnswerIt's either broken, or your system can't run it due to not enough power. If you had an electrician come out for this problem, I suggest you get an actual competent electrician, because anyone with even the vaguest knowledge of electricity should have immediately been able to tell you why this isn't working.
A:AnswerI had trouble figuring this out too so I just talked to Best Buy support because it's one of their brands. It sounds like they send out one of their people to diagnose the problem and then if it's within the warranty they'll be the ones who talk to the supplier about repair items or new units. I think maybe just call the best buy customer support and explain that you're confused about how the warranty works and who to talk to. I think they figured it out for me based on that and having my order number handy. I don't have their special plan that costs extra and whatnot but they still got me to the right people I think.
A:AnswerI dont know about special sales. I paid over $600 for washer and over $600 for dryer. You would be getting a great deal and product for that price

A:AnswerSince my product is new, I have not consider where to get replacement parts. Try Best Buy. If they don't have it in stock, Google would probably guide you to where the part is available.
A:AnswerBuy another one and take the heating element out of that. That is what they planned for you to do all along...buy another new dryer in 2 years. That's why they don't list or sell replacement parts. I have the same issue... heating element died at 29 months.
