QuestionWhat kind of audio does this cable support? I have seen answers on here where it says this cable does support audio, and can be heard through the televisions speakers? And it says that the cable carries a digital signal?

- Answer It's correct this cable is only digital signal but in some cases it transmits the audio, that depends on the controller you have on your pc or laptop as well as the TV

Questionwill this connect a HP monitor with HDMI connection to a USB port on a HP laptop?

- Answer I do not think it will. One end is HDMI and the other is a Display port, which kinds looks like the letter C. New computers have them (display ports). To my knowledge it will not connect to a USB port. I used it to connect a second monitor using the Display port since my HDMI port was already being used, and I did not feel like buying a graphics card.

Questionhad about a month. lately I noticed the hdmo side going in to the monitor is getting very hot and my display changes from 4k to something else. If I unplug and let cool down then plug back in it works. Is there something wrong with my cable? Is it normal

- Answer Cables like these often have components inside that will change the signal - it's possible that you may have a defective cable experiencing overheating issues and it should be replaced.

QuestionHad issues with these cables. At first it would shake and split the image on one monitor and now they do not display anything. Seen different threads on this but is there a driver that needs to be installed so these cables work correctly?

- Answer For me it was plug and play. No install of any drivers on my install. I was using installing a new LG Monitor and connecting to a docking station.
