A:Answer• Locate the refrigerator away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Ambient temperature
below 50° F (10° C) or above 85° F (29.4° C) hinders the performance of the refrigerator. The refrigerator is not designed for use in a garage or any other outside installation.
• Avoid locating the refrigerator in moist areas.

A:AnswerHi there!
Mini fridges freeze because of temperature settings, moisture buildup, and in many cases, a bad gasket. If there's a bad seal, the air temperature will be off, forcing the compressor on, which will speed up the freezing process of all the moisture seeping into your mini fridge.

A:Answermost refrigerators have a large opening in the back where the compressor/motor are housed. and while it creates a large area for air to enter and the heat to dissipate, it is also best to allow air to move under the fridge as well. I would suggest if you want to place it on a carpeted area, that you put down a piece of plywood or some other flat surface that doesn't need to extend around as the same size of the fridge, but will allow the feet to sit on to raise up off the carpet.
