- Answer Hello, It is not mandatory to have Alexa in order to use the robot, and the robot you are referring to is a mopping robot, not a vacuum. - Answer Actually, the product is pretty stupid. It assumes carpet is higher the hard floor. But, mostly it just gets stuck. I do not recommend wasting your money on an iRobot product.

QuestionAt my company we only clean floors with ethanol. If we put ethanol in as the “cleaner” would it ruin machine ?

- Answer The product is flawed. Regardless of the cleaner you put in, it only rubs the floor in a single direction which will eventually create streaks. If you have grout, it may push the dirt into the grout. I had to have my entire house grout clean because of this product.

QuestionWill this actually clean travertine floors with all their nooks and crannies???

- Answer I have travertine (or similar) tiles that have a wood grain sort of look. The Braava jet pushed the dirt in the nooks and crannies and stained the grout. I would not recommend this product.

QuestionCan you use this in the uk does it also have a uk Plug socket?

- Answer Hello C, It is very much recommended not to purchase the robot outside the country you intend to use it in. This is because the sockets could be different for the line cord, and most importantly - your warranty will be voided if you take the robot outside the country it was originally purchased from.

QuestionI have wood and tile surfaces on the same floor level. How do I ensure it does not use the tile cleaner on the wood surface? Or should I just use the wood cleaner for both surfaces?

- Answer You can set up boundaries and areas on the app. You would have the wood floor and tile floor as separate areas and tell the cleaner which area to do. They may have a single solution suitable for both types of surfaces as well-not sure.

QuestionMy first floor is about 1600 sq ft, will 4 separate rooms and an entrance way. Can I map and mop the whole first floor at once, or should I break it up by room?

- Answer You can mop the whole area but I break mine down so I can put on a new mop for each area so I’m not moving dirt around.

QuestionWhen the iRobot m6 goes back to base does that mean there is no more water in robot. If so can I leave in there till next cleaning job or do I empty container?

- Answer if it goes back to the base it might be out of water or battery needs to be charged. you can always open the app. and it will tell you if it needs more water/solution. you can also open it when on base or pause it and look at the container.

QuestionBrava jet m6 connected to Alexa- when I ask Alexa to mop, it says “ fill the tank & close the lid” even if both are done & won’t start. I am able to launch mop via both App + “clean button - no issue. Also I am able to pause brava via Alexa.

- Answer Did you get an answer for this? My Braava jet m6 keeps saying to “close the lid and press clean” even if the lid clicks closed. We reached out to customer support and they told us there is nothing wrong and we are not under warranty anymore.

QuestionWe just had hardwood floors installed on the house but carpet installed in the bedrooms I was wondering if the Braava jet m6 (6112) Robot Mop will travel over the carpet to get to the restroom with the hardwood floor.

- Answer I doubt it and from what I can see it depends on the mood its in! Personally think its a terrible robot! That being said the task is in mapping the area and setting up keep out zones and thresholds! If you have the patience its possible you may get it to work

- Answer Ive tried four diff types of cleaner and all leave streaks! Two of the irobot acutall cleaners and two diff bonas all left streaks! I tried less and more solution etc still ots of streaks ! this m6 is garbage
